Am I eligible for a free card?

Some external borrowers are eligible for free cards, including: Seniors 60+, spouses/partners of faculty or staff, and non-credit students. (Check External borrowers: Borrowing Library materials for a complete list.) If you are picking up your card in person, bring one piece of current official photo identification (e.g. driver’s license, passport, university identification card) and other documentation required to confirm your eligibility (if applicable) for one of the non-paying categories.

The information on this form is collected under the authority of the University Act (R.S.B.C. 1996, c.468). It is related directly to and needed by the University for services provided by the SFU Library. The information will be used to administer changes to preferred email addresses for external borrowers.
