March 19, 2020 update: While the physical SFU Libraries are temporarily closed due to COVID-19 measures, I'm happy to continue to support you in your research and respond to your collections questions remotely.
Please feel free to contact me via email during this time. You may also leave a voicemail on my office phone and I will call you back, if you prefer. Video conferencing is also an option.
Please note that our virtual reference service AskAway remains open, continuing with our usual extended evening and weekend hours.
You may also wish to check out our extensive research tutorials and subject research guides, including those for Communication and all the programs in Contemporary Arts (scroll down this page to see the links).
Office Hours
Due to the COVID-19 situation, I will not be holding office hours in the Communication department until further notice.
Please Note
If you are contacting me about a research question, please include some background detail, such as:
No need to provide the above information in extensive detail (unless you wish): some simple point-form notes is often enough to get us started.
I aim to respond to emails within one working day. If you require a faster response, or if I am temporarily away from the library, I encourage you to contact some of our general research help services.
